2014 interview by LUXE Magazine…

What lead you to your current profession?

"I am certain I was born thinking my surroundings needed to reflect who I am.  At 8 years old my bedroom was the schizzle. When I earned my first paycheck at 15 I really upped the look in my space."

What are the key influences in your work today?

"Extensive travel in the U.S. and Europe studying architecture of historic spaces and the furnishings indigenous to the particular area.  You can't truly understand what is possible tomorrow if you don't know what happened the day before.

Another influence is my collections.  I realized the silent role they take explaining to friends and guests my passions.  One of the first questions I ask a new client is if they have any or want to start one."

What is your most prized possession and why?

" A French table and chairs of my mother's.  We shared a love of French furniture.  I will keep these pieces always."
